About us
STEAM & Dream Liberation Labs is a Chicago-based nonprofit transforming STEM access for youth by blending hands-on learning, imagination, joy, and near-peer mentorship. Founded in 2024, we partner with schools and youth organizations across Chicago and beyond to offer dynamic, culturally affirming STEM programs during the school day and after school for grades 2–12.
Our work provides early, joyful entry points into the world of STEM—opening doors to the countless careers students rarely get to see—and builds bright futures where every young person sees themselves as a creator, problem solver, innovator, and visionary.
Since launching in 2024, STEAM & Dream has grown rapidly, serving over 1,000 youth across Chicago and beyond, reflecting both the need and the power of our model.

Through strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, and youth-serving programs across Chicago, STEAM & Dream has connected over 500 youth with hands-on STEM experiences in 2024–2025 — helping them unlock creativity, build confidence, and see themselves as the innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
